"Lazy Eyes"

"Lazy Eyes"

"Lazy Eyes" by Michael Agger is an interesting article. It shines light on what it means to use the Internet and how we read articles online. He talks about how fonts, spacing, and how long the paragraph is; can affect how the reader reads the article. For example if the paragraph is to long the reader might just skip it and move on. He also talks about how the Internet is a jungle and how as users we are “selfish, lazy and ruthless.” He explains these words because when arriving to a page we don’t really read it or take time to appreciate it. We just skim the page for what we need and move on. To be honest I think Michael is correct and I agree with what he has to say. I never knew I was doing these things until he pointed it out. We should really take the time to appreciate the work that we find on the Internet instead of milking it for what we need. But at the same time who has time to really read every single little detail.
